Location

Corcubión, a land of calm and bravery

Where We Are

The Town Council of Corcubión is located in the western part of Galicia, and its estuary is the highest one in Rías Baixas, forming part of the so-called Costa da Morte.

By Car

From A Coruña
the fastest route is to take the AG-55 A Coruña-Carballo toll road, from which it links directly to the Costa da Morte motorway, without the need to take any detours. When the motorway ends, at the roundabout take the first exit to continue along the AC-552, towards Vimianzo and Fisterra. We continue on this road for about 32km and we will arrive at Corcubión.

From Santiago de Compostela
the fastest route is to take the AG-56/N-550 Pontevedra-Noia. We join the AG-56 towards Noia and, after about 6km, we take exit 7 towards AC-544/CP-0203, Bertamiráns Norte/Negreira/Ames. In the roundabout we take the second exit, joining the AC-544, towards Negreira/Muxía. Continue along the AC-544 for about 12km, always taking the second exit at the roundabouts you come across. Then we must continue on the AC-546, taking the second exit at the roundabout towards AC-546 A Pereira / AC-552 Cee. From here, continue straight on the AC-546 for about 13km: you will pass through a small roundabout which you must follow straight on and, shortly after, you will reach another slightly larger roundabout where you must also follow straight on, taking the second exit towards AC-441 Brandomil/Muxía. From here we continue 21km to turn to the left in A Boudañeira, taking the deviation in direction AC-442 Berdeogas/Dumbría. We continue about 4km until we reach a detour where we turn left to take the AC-552 towards Cee/Corcubión/Fisterra, which is the road that will take us to Corcubión.

Another option to come from Santiago de Compostela to Corcubión is to go through Noia, Muros, Carnota, etc. It is a longer route, but along the whole coast.
